We are offering an exciting opportunity for experienced Landscape Gardeners and Landscapers to join our growing team. This casual role offers between 30-40 hours per week, ideal for individuals looking to expand their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform garden maintenance tasks: mowing, edging, weeding, mulching, planting, and pruning
- Handle a variety of landscaping tasks, such as paving, constructing garden beds, installing turf, and creating retaining walls
- Safely operate and maintain landscaping and garden machinery, including ride-on mowers, trenchers, excavators, blowers, chainsaws, and whipper snippers
- Install, monitor, and maintain irrigation systems
- Assist in site preparation and landscape design implementation
- Apply plant maintenance and landscape construction knowledge
- Perform weed control and follow work health safety practices
Essential Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in both garden maintenance and landscaping projects
- Proficiency in operating machinery (ride-on mower, push mower, trenchers, mini-excavators, blowers, chainsaws, etc.)
- Experience with irrigation systems installation, monitoring, and maintenance
- Capability to perform physical tasks and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- High standard of work with problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- A current manual driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- A Certificate III or higher in Horticulture or Landscaping is highly regarded
- Suitable working rights in Australia
